Eleven local students earn academic recognition at UW-Madison

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean’s List, Dean’s Honor List, and the Honor Roll for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Eleven students are form Hamilton County. They include:

  • Jaclyn Copeland of Carmel, College of Letters and Science, Dean’s List
  • Lauren Kennedy of Carmel, School of Education, Dean’s List
  • Emma Langsford of Fishers, College of Letters and Science, Dean’s List
  • Jack Macias of Carmel, College of Engineering, Dean’s Honor List
  • Madeline Maurer of Carmel, School of Pharmacy, Honor Roll
  • Avery Muckridge of Carmel, College of Letters and Science, Dean’s List
  • Drake Stallworth of Fishers, Col of Agricultural & Life Science, Dean’s List
  • Bill Weas of Carmel, School of Business, Dean’s List
  • Elyse Wiener of Carmel, College of Agricultural & Life Science, Dean’s List

Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.
