Duke Energy employees volunteered their time last weekend assisting the Morse Waterways Association clearing trash and debris from the public docks in Cicero. According to Duke Energy Government & Community Relations Manager Mark LaBarr, the team brought a large amount of tree limbs, stray floating items, tree stumps, plastic, and other debris to the shore where it was hauled away for disposal. One employee volunteered his boat, which enabled the team to tow the very large items across the lake where it could be handled by a backhoe.
