While the Hamilton County 4-H Fair officially started on July 17, the dogs always provide the fair with some early excitement.
The Dog Agility show took place on Saturday, July 12, with 15 dogs running two different courses. The first was a pure agility course, which featured jumps of varying heights, teeter-totter, a tunnel and a platform where dogs were to sit and “stay” for five seconds. The second course was heavier on jumps.
Ten contestants participated in the beginners category, while the other five competed in the intermediate category.
