County Clerk encourages parents to talk to teens about voting for the first time
Hamilton County Clerk Kathy Kreag Williams is reminding those who aren’t already registered to vote in the Primary Election on Tuesday, May 5, that they have one week left to do so. The deadline to register to vote is Monday, April 6.

“If you’re not sure whether or not you’re currently registered, you can always check online,” Williams said. “You’ll find everything you need to know at indianavoters.com.”
Williams also reminds parents of first-time voters that they can vote in the primary even if they are not yet 18 years old.
“Any 17-year-old who will be 18 by Nov. 3 is eligible to vote in the May primary,” Williams said. “Primary elections offer a valuable introduction for first-time voters and help build long-term civic engagement. We encourage families to talk about the importance of voting and support teens as they take that first step.”
In addition to registering online, you can also register by mail or in person at the Hamilton County Clerk’s Office on the first floor of the Judicial Center in Noblesville. If you are currently registered to vote in Hamilton County and have moved or changed your name, you can submit these changes at indianavoters.com as well.
