David Ashley Hudson, 73, Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Symphony Dyer in Dyer, Ind. He was born on March 3, 1948, to James William and Ruth Southerland (Legg) Hudson in Kanawha County, W.V.
David retired as CEO of Gullco Cleveland and was a 45-year member of the American Welding Society. He was an avid bass fisherman. David enjoyed building race cars and was involved in pit crews with the drag racing circuit.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Hudson) Burnell; three grandchildren, Reed, Sam, and Elizabeth “Libby” Burnell; and his girlfriend, Mary Lou Beatly.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou (Hill) Hudson; daughter, Wendy Louise Hudson; son, Christopher Hudson; and his granddaughter, Emma Burnell.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will be at Carmel Cemetery in Carmel.
