Darren Peterson was elected the new president of the Noblesville Common Council following a vote during an organization meeting held at the first council meeting of the year. Megan Wiles was elected as vice president.
“We have a number of signature projects being constructed this year and I am excited to work closely with Darren and the rest of our common council members,” Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen said. “The strong working rapport between my administration and the council will prove helpful as we move projects forward and continue the growth of our community.”
Peterson was elected to serve the remainder of a term on the Noblesville Common Council in October 2018, was elected to his first full term in 2020 and reelected in 2024.
