Daniel Lee Jones, 40, Anderson, Ind., passed away July 14, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel following an extended illness.
He was born on March 21, 1985, in Indianapolis to Harold J. “Joe” Jones Jr. and Marla (Blazier) Jones. Daniel attended Headstart schools along with being homeschooled.
Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, and he loved Jesus. He also loved car shows, Hot Wheels, Sunday School, golf, and the Indianapolis Colts.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Marla (Blazier) Jones of Anderson; sister, Vanessa (Shawn) Street of Middletown; grandmother, Jeaninie Blazier of Pendleton; aunt, Mona Hilton of Pendleton; uncles, Edwin Blazier of Noblesville and Vance (Missy) Blazier of Noblesville; several nieces and nephews; and a great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold “Joe” Jones Jr.; and his grandfather, John R. Blazier.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel, with Rev. Tom Greenslade officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the funeral home.
