Carmel Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of guest conductor Paul Langford, brought a holiday concert to remember to audiences on Sunday afternoon and evening at the Palladium. Performers included Broadway actor Ben Davis, Carmel native and recurring cast member of Disney’s Sydney to the Max, Amelia Wray, the Indiana Ballet Conservatory, and the Second Presbyterian Church Choir. Santa showed up, passing out candy to young audience members, waving to the crowds, and to mayor-elect Sue Finkam. He also hopped on stage and tried to conduct for a moment. It was a colorful evening in many ways. The 7 p.m. show even had outgoing mayor Jim Brainard playing French Horn with the symphony for a couple numbers.
