The Noblesville girls cross country team ran away with the Crawford County Invitational on Saturday.
The Millers scored 24 points, well ahead of runner-up Seymour’s 206. Noblesville had four runners in the overall top five: Brooke Lahee took second, Bella Sharples-Gordon was third, Paige Hazelrigg was fourth and Sophie Reichard finished fifth. Sophie Stahl took 10th to give the Millers five runner in the top 10.
The event was divided into categories based on class. Lahee and Paige Hazelrigg finished 1-2 in the freshman division, then Noblesville had four runners in the top 10 of the sophomore division: Ashley Newcome was fourth, Taylor Gossard fifth, Zoe Bruns eighth and Makenzie Pursch ninth.
Sharples-Gordon won the junior division, with Stahl third and Chloe Click fourth. As for the seniors, Stahl finished first while Anna Hazelrigg took eighth.

The annual Riverview Health Invitational took place Saturday at Northview Church, and Hamilton County had a large presence, as usual.
In the Boys Championship race, Carmel finished third with 100 points. Freshman Kole Mathison continued his strong season by taking eighth place. Noblesville finished in fourth place; the Millers had the highest finishing county runner in Travis Hickner (sixth) and was the only county team to land two runners in the top 10, with Cole Kimmel taking 10th.
Hamilton Southeastern was seventh as a team; Eric Swinson’s 16th place finish led the Royals. Westfield was right behind in eighth, with Kai Connor taking 24th to pace this team. Guerin Catholic finished 11th; Austin Callahan led the Golden Eagles by finishing 48th.
Fishers had a team in the Boys Invitational race, which it won by scoring 95 points. Caden Carpenter led the Tigers with a 10th-place finish.
Carmel’s girls team took second in the Girls Championship event. The Greyhounds’ Jasmine Klopstad placed sixth, making her the county’s highest-finishing runner. Fishers placed fourth, with Vera Schafer pacing the Tigers by taking 18th.
Southeastern placed sixth as a team, with Halle Hill the top Royals runner by finishing 17th. Westfield was 10th; Julia Clark finished 49th to lead the ‘Rocks. Guerin Catholic finished 13th, with Bridget Gallagher taking 13th place. Hamilton Heights’ Maria Mitchell ran as an individual and placed eighth.

Hamilton Heights and University competed in the Tipton Invitational, and both teams had a successful day.
The Huskies finished second in the boys race; Heights and Frankton each scored 71 points, with the Eagles winning on the sixth-man score. Preston Miller placed sixth and Price Knowles was eighth, giving the Huskies two runners in the top 10.
The Trailblazers placed fifth as a team, but had the individual winner: Noah Laramore finished the race in 17:05.2.
Sheridan had a pair of runners compete in the boys race: Luke Poprik was 21st and Axel Aleman finished 30th.
In the girls race, University was the team runner-up, placing three runners in the top 10. Jada Swearingen finished third, Chloe Kaplan was sixth and Charlotte Kumler placed eighth.
Heights finished third as a team, and also had three runners in the top 10. Morgan Guthrie took seventh, Madison Dotlich finished ninth and Victoria Lopez took 10th.
