County Councilman Brad Beaver tours construction of new county parking garage

The new county parking garage with 475 spaces will support both county staff and the public to enjoy activities and events in downtown Noblesville, as well as conduct their daily business.

“This five-story parking garage is the biggest public improvement in downtown parking in 20 years,” said Hamilton County Councilman Brad Beaver. “And it’s being built with no tax increase.”

Building the parking garage will not only help relieve parking congestion in downtown Noblesville, but it will also free up land – currently being used for county parking – for development.

“This construction project has involved mass excavation, digging, drilled piers, grade beams and cast-in place columns, and our contractors Garmong and Wilhelm are doing a superb job with staying on schedule,” Beaver said.

The parking garage is scheduled to open in the spring of 2022 with public access after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on the weekends.
