County Council announces 14 board appointments

Candidates sought for Sheridan Economic Development Board

The Hamilton County Council has appointed 14 citizens to various boards for 2024. The following appointments were made at the council meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 6:

  • Hamilton County Redevelopment Commission: Mark Hall
  • Economic Development Boards: Chase Bruton (Noblesville), Nicki Felix (Carmel), Jim Ginebaugh (Hamilton County), Jamie Nieves (Fishers), and Joseph Plankis (Westfield)
  • Hamilton County Visitor and Convention Commission: Lisa Hanni and Rachel Quade
  • Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals: Bruce Freeman and William Sanders Jr.
  • Alcoholic Beverage Board: Michael Colby
  • Library Boards: Julie Davis (Hamilton North) and Kim Logan (Hamilton East )
  • Hoosier Heritage Port Authority: Joshua Morris

The Council selected the appointees from a pool of applicants on the online portal. The Council is still looking for someone interested in serving on Sheridan’s Economic Development Board. Anyone interested in applying can do so at this link. Council members hope to approve that appointment at their next meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
