Bell bottoms, platform shoes, and plenty of dancing filled Cool Creek Park as Disco-Licious brought the sounds of the disco era to the Cool Creek Summer Concert Series last Friday, June 19.
Guests arrived early to enjoy a beautiful summer evening, gathering with family and friends before the band took the stage. Once the music began, the lawn quickly transformed into a dance floor as audience members sang along to disco favorites and celebrated the unforgettable hits of the 1970s.
Featuring talented musicians and energetic performers, Disco-Licious delivered crowd favorites made famous by artists such as the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, KC and the Sunshine Band, and many others.
The evening showcased the community spirit that has made the Cool Creek Summer Concert Series a longtime tradition in Hamilton County. Whether guests came dressed in their disco best or simply enjoyed the music from a lawn chair, attendees experienced a fun-filled night of entertainment and nostalgia.
The 2026 Cool Creek Summer Concert Series continues throughout the summer. The next concert is the America 250 celebration with Mellencougar on July 10. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children 12 and under are free. Gates open at 6 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m. For tickets and concert information, visit myhamiltoncountyparks.com.
Hamilton County Parks and Recreation thanks the sponsors who make the concert series possible: Grand Appliance, Hamilton County Tourism, Butler Fairman & Seufert (BF&S), IU Health, Etica Group, Envoy, Community First Bank of Indiana, Fredericks, Lowe’s, the Coxhall Guild, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and Renewal by Andersen.
