Community leader and longtime Hamilton County advocate Sam Mishelow has officially endorsed Jack Russell for Hamilton Heights School Board At-Large, citing Russell’s leadership, vision, and commitment to serving students, families, and the broader community.

Mishelow, who served with Meyer Najem Construction for 26 years and is a recipient of the prestigious Sagamore of the Wabash Award, has dedicated decades to civic and community leadership throughout Hamilton County. His service has included board leadership with organizations such as Ivy Tech Hamilton County, the Indiana Selective Service Commission, the Westfield Police Merit Board, Riverview Health, OneZone Chamber, and many others.

“Jack is an exceptional leader who is truly dedicated to serving others,” Mishelow said. “Jack has a clear vision for serving OneZone as well as the many communities that benefit from his presence.”

Russell announced his candidacy with a campaign focused on five key pillars: elevating academic excellence, strengthening school safety and well-being, inspiring community connection, championing fiscal responsibility, and fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and growth.
