Clarence Edward King, 70, Atlanta, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on May 15, 1950 to John Sherman and Laura (Osborne) King in Hazard, Ky.
Clarence was a maintenance worker at IUPUI for many years before his retirement in 2014. He enjoyed motorcycles, guns, target shooting, watching old westerns, and drag racing his ’69 Dodge Coronet 500. Clarence was a prankster and animal lover. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary King; daughters, Judy Marie (Lonnie) Heuck, Abbie Lynn (Zachary) Tobey, and Amanda Leigh (Michael) Dunn; son, Russell William (Ashley) King; siblings, Russell G. King and Betty Sue Ingram; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six of his siblings.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Harbour Shores Church, 8011 E. 216th St., Cicero, with Pastor Steve Schultze officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
