“I am able to attend various clubs throughout the school day since I have this advantage,” Verbanc said. “Not only this, but I can dedicate more time to the lessons that I need help with. Planning my day has allowed me to get the most out of school, allowing me to fully enjoy it and the clubs I am involved in.”

The Indiana Connections Career Academy’s FBLA chapter is an award-winning, student-led career and technical organization that inspires and prepares student members for college and careers. Members are given an opportunity to develop leadership skills through becoming a chapter officer, participating in a variety of community service and career-readiness activities, and attending and competing at conferences and workshops throughout the school year.

Indiana Connections Career Academy’s FBLA chapter has had the privilege of competing in a variety of local, state and national chapter challenges and conferences and has earned chapter recognition and awards. Each year, the school’s chapter officers create a program of work that focuses on fun, engaging activities that develop leadership skills through community service projects and programs.
