Construction work is underway on a project the Cicero Streets and Utility Department is completing on Harrison Street to help alleviate drainage issues. Crews are installing a new storm line from Jackson Street to about halfway down Harrison Street on the west side of the road.
There will be rolling lane and road closures on east Jackson Street over the next two to four weeks as the project continues. Closures should be limited to hours within the day so as not to disrupt school bus routes and evening commutes from work.
