Cicero police have arrested a Cicero man in connection with a burglary of a residence. Investigation by the department led them to a vacant residence where they found an open door and heard someone inside. The suspect closed, locked and barricaded the door and refused to come out. After efforts to have the suspect surrender failed, officers forced entry and eventually found the suspect in the crawl space.
The suspect, identified as Wesley Collier, 36, was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with one count of burglary and two counts of theft. The investigation continues, and anyone believing they have information relevant to the investigation should contact the Cicero Police Department.
Cicero was assisted by deputies from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, along with their K-9 and the Arcadia Police Department.
