Residents encouraged to take part in telling their town’s story

Ball State PBS is looking for stories about Cicero.

The Muncie PBS station located on the Ball State University campus will feature Cicero in its ongoing series celebrating small towns in its viewing area.

Called Now Entering… this program is a video scrapbook of the people, places and history of towns as seen through the eyes of its residents. Cicero community members will collect video footage and photos to showcase their unique stories. These materials will be combined to create the Now Entering…Cicero television program, which will be broadcast on Ball State PBS this summer.

Producers from Ball State PBS will be in Cicero at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the Red Bridge Community Center, 697 W. Jackson St., for an informational meeting. Residents are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting to learn about this new PBS project.

Anyone who would like to learn more about the project but unable to attend the meeting in person can contact Sam Clemmons, producer/director, at sclemmons@bsu.edu, or fill out a participation form at ballstatepbs.org/nowentering.
