It may be the middle of summer, but the spirit of Christmas is already in the air. As part of a festive “Christmas in July” campaign, the team behind the beloved Christmas Gift + Hobby Show is calling on Hoosiers to help find the next show-stopping Christmas tree to serve as the centerpiece of the 2025 event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Each year, the towering tree displayed at the Christmas Gift + Hobby Show creates a magical setting for photos, family traditions, and lasting memories. Now, Hoosiers have the opportunity to be part of that cherished tradition by submitting a tree from their property to be featured at the next show.
To thank the chosen participant, the show organizers offer a festive reward package that includes:
- Professional tree removal, including stump grinding at no cost to homeowner
- 20 tickets to the 2025 Christmas Gift + Hobby Show
- Free parking
- $500 cash
To be considered, trees must be:
- At least 30 feet tall
- Healthy and visually striking
- Easily accessible for professional removal

The Christmas Gift + Hobby Show will return to the Indiana State Fairgrounds in November 2025, bringing with it hundreds of local artisans, vendors, seasonal entertainment, and of course, the iconic tree that captures the spirit of the season.
