Centier Bank recently made a $2,500 sponsorship to Student Impact, an after-school program and peer group that helps students build relationships through love and acceptance in a safe and consistent environment.
Student Impact is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving students in fifth through 12th grades in Westfield Washington Township. Its mission is to provide a safe place for students to build meaningful relationships through love and acceptance. The donation will help develop programs and events that best serve students throughout the year.
Student Impact Executive Program Director Brittany Delph said that last year, 718 students came through the organization, each having the opportunity to get plugged into any of the more than 10 programs, such as a basketball league, a student-operated podcast, a merchandise shop, and a café. Students also receive a hot meal with fresh fruits and vegetables daily Monday through Thursday, as well as weekly breakfast times, quarterly events summer camps, and weekly youth groups.
“Annual sponsors provide our organization the ability to develop programs and events that best serve our students throughout the year,” Delph said. “We’re so thankful that Centier Bank understands and actively supports our future leaders!”
Centier Bank’s Westfield Branch Manager David Taylor and the Greater Indianapolis Regional Sales Manager Ben Studebaker presented the check to Delph.
