The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year and a day of celebration for many communities.
Get ready to spend an evening under the starts with friends in Carmel as you watch community dance performances from 5 to 7:30 in the Coxhall Amphitheatre. Stay to hear the Carmel Symphony Orchestra perform solar-related favorites as the sun goes down from 8:30 to 9:45 pm. End the evening enjoying the light of the full strawberry moon against the dark evening sky at the beautiful Coxhall Gardens Amphitheatre.
Join conductor Joel Smirnoff and soloists Asako Tamura and former CSO Concerto Competition Winner Cooper Olsen as they perform works by Puccini, Barber, Gershwin, Vivaldi, Carmichael and more, ending with special guest Blair Clark closing out the evening with “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” by Steve Wonder.
Performances by community partners start at 5 p.m. and will feature Central Indiana Academy of Dance, Dhol Indian drumming, Gregory Hancock Dance Company, Indiana Ballet Conservatory, and Kathak Dance Academy.
Enjoy historic cars on display at the Gardens sponsored by Artomobilia. Bring your dinner or visit food trucks and drink vendors, including sponsors Bier Brewery and Sugar Creek Winery.

Tables of eight are available for $1,000 and include a surprise bonus gift from the CSO to you. You can also purchase VIP or terrace seating for comfortable seats (with backs) and the best view of the concert.
Lawn seating and youth pricing are available to meet everyone’s budget.
