This award, presented by the Carmel Urban Forestry Committee since 2005, is given to individuals for Excellence in Urban Forestry. Walker, seen here accepting her plaque at the May 11 Carmel Neighborhood Association Network Meeting, won the honor in appreciation of her dedication to environmental policy.
