Carmel’s Arts in Autumn festival returns Saturday to Midtown Plaza & Indiana Design Center

The Arts in Autumn, sponsored by CrossRoad Engineers, PC, returns for its second year from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14. This fun, fall festival will stretch from Midtown Plaza to the Indiana Design Center and leads into the Arts & Design District for Allied Solutions’ Meet Me on Main from 4 to 8 p.m.

Enjoy food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts merchants, family fun activities, a screening of Hotel Transylvania at 2 p.m., music stylings by Andra Faye and Scott Ballantine from 4 to 6 p.m., two custom photo booths, plus an Instagram based dog costume contest. Trick-or-Treating, sponsored by Circle Real Estate, will be a featured activity from Midtown to the Indiana Design Center and at participating Allied Solutions’ Meet Me on Main locations. Be sure to snag a free trick-or-treat bag at one of the City of Carmel booths located in Midtown and Anthony’s Plaza.

We encourage eventgoers and their pets to dress up in their favorite costume, snap a photo and tag @MidtownCarmel, @IndianaDesignCenter, or @CarmelArtsDesign in your Instagram post.

In addition, hop on the fall trolley experience that will be running from 3 to 7 p.m. with stops in front of the All Things Carmel store located on Main Street and near Garden Table in Midtown Plaza.

This event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available along the streets and in various garages in the area.

Please note: Elm Street will be closed to traffic between Veterans Way and Monon Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Continue the fun and head north on the Monon to the Arts & Design District for Allied Solutions’ Meet Me on Main from 4 to 8 p.m.
