Lucky for us, The Reporter’s own Anna Mitchell took all her photos on the first day of CarmelFest, July 3. There was face painting, music, fair food, Eddie Munster’s car, and a Ferris wheel showed up for the first time at a CarmelFest this year.
For those of you who are not massive stores of random trivia, we call it a “Ferris wheel” thanks to George Washington Gale Ferris Jr., who built one for a festival in Chicago back in 1893.
