Dear Editor:
I noticed that Emily Pearson, who is a recent hire of the Hamilton County Treasurer and is serving as the Campaign Treasurer for Kim Good, wrote a letter of support of Kim Good.
I also note that Emily Pearson filled out a sloppy and inaccurate campaign finance report on behalf of Kim Good. She inaccurately stated the dates incurred and amounts of loans outstanding and paid from Kim Good, plus failed to list the occupations of some of her $1,000 contributors and cumulative amounts in Column B.
This might put the lie to Mike Howard, the County Attorney, who stated in reaction to crony-hiring practices by the current Treasurer’s Office leadership: Pearson was chosen “based on her experience in customer service, data entry, and exceptional organizational skills.”
I reviewed Susan Byer’s campaign finance filing and found it to be impeccable. I am voting for Ms. Byer.

Emily Pearson needs to wake up and realize she is just another pawn in Kim Good’s political games.
