This week’s Olympic events featured Carmel’s hometown athletes. Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek defeated the Czech team of Tomas Machac and Adam Pavlásek to advance to the men’s doubles final, Drew Kibler won silver in the men’s 4×200-meter freestyle relay, Alex Shackell will go on to the final in the women’s 200-meter butterfly, and Aaron Shackell was a finalist in the Men’s 400-meter freestyle.
