On Wednesday, Carmel police officers responded to a reported bomb threat in the area of 1 S. Range Line Road. As a precaution, the roads in the area of Main Street and Range Line Road were temporarily closed by officers.
Upon investigation, officers have determined the threat was unsubstantiated and there is no concern for the safety of the public at this time. Carmel police investigators are now actively working this case to determine who the perpetrator(s) of this threat was.
