Hitchcock
The Carmel Police Department has announced the hiring of three new police officers to the force. They were sworn in to duty on Monday at a ceremony at Police Headquarters. Welcome Officers Jason Hitchcock, Caleb Law, and Austin Ritenour.
Jason “Ryan” Hitchcock
Officer Hitchcock comes to Carmel from Indianapolis Metro Police Department, where he worked for six years. He graduated from Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in communication. He also played football at Butler. He most recently worked as a program supervisor with PPG Aerospace.
Caleb Law
Officer Law comes to Carmel from the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, where he worked for the last four years. He graduated from IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree and also served as a First Lieutenant in the Army National Guard.
Austin Ritenour
Officer Ritenour comes to Carmel from the Elwood Police Department, where he worked for the last four years. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army and still serves as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard.
