Carmel & Pedcor Companies announce return of annual Oktoberfest

Carmel city officials and Pedcor Companies invite residents and visitors to celebrate the arrival of autumn at the annual Carmel Oktoberfest, taking place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2.

This free, family-friendly celebration will take over the plaza level of Carmel City Center along Veterans Way and Hanover Court, bringing the community together for an evening filled with festive German food, seasonal beverages, local shopping, and live music.

Returning to Oktoberfest this year is Der Polkatz, a high-energy 13-piece polka band renowned for blending traditional polka and waltz favorites with classic hits and international tunes. The group will hit the stage on the upper plaza along Veterans Way starting at 6 p.m.

Attendees can look forward to seasonal culinary delights and beverages provided by an array of popular Carmel City Center vendors, including:

• Hanami Sushi & Sake Bar
• Lone Pine
• Hotel Carmichael
• SALT
• Maple
• The Cake Bake Shop

Free parking is available in the Veterans Way Garage as well as designated public parking areas and street parking throughout Carmel City Center.
