Carmel has once again made the list of top places to live in the United States.
USA Today recently ranked the top 50 best places to live, and Carmel ranked 17th on a list that was highlighted by some big names.
USA Today attributed Carmel’s ranking to the 71 percent of people 25 and older having a college degree. Also highlighted was Carmel’s 2.1 percent unemployment rate and a 3.7 percent poverty rate.
The national media outlet reported Carmel’s household median income of $109,201, one of the highest in the nation.
The top-ranking city on the list was West University Place, Texas. Beverly Hills, Calif., placed second.
