Get ready to soak up the sun and celebrate community spirit. Carmel invites you to the Midtown Block Party, the city’s premier annual summer kickoff event, set for 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at Midtown Plaza, 365 Monon Blvd.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect Mother’s Day weekend outing or just want a fun Saturday activity, Carmel has you covered. From interactive Touch-a-Truck experiences to a movie on the big screen, this family-friendly celebration offers something for everyone. The party is free and open to the public.
Note: Elm Street will be closed to traffic between Veterans Way and Monon Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Since its grand opening in 2019, Midtown Plaza has become the heart of Carmel’s urban core. What began as an anniversary party for the Plaza has evolved into a beloved annual tradition to welcome the summer season with rotating themes and community-focused activities.
