Carmel Fire Auxiliary needs your help to make a difference

The holiday season is fast approaching, and the Carmel Fire Auxiliary invites you once again to partner with the Carmel Fire Department to ensure the success of the long-running Community Assistance Program (CAP).

For more than 50 years, the Carmel Fire Auxiliary has provided food and presents to many Clay Township families in need. This year, the Auxiliary has committed to providing a holiday meal, presents for the children, and staple items for the pantries for 180 families.

It takes many people to make this program a success, so your participation truly makes a difference.

Here are three ways you can help:

  1. Make a tax-deductible monetary donation. Makes checks payable to CFD Auxiliary. Please write “CAP” in the memo line. Mail to Carmel Fire Department, Attn: CAP, 210 Veterans Way, Carmel, IN 46032. You can also donate via PayPal at com/CFDauxPayPal. Please write “CAP” in the memo line.
  2. Sponsor a family or children by purchasing gifts. Register by Dec. 1 and complete the sponsorship form at com/CAPsponsorship. Email CAP@carmel.in.gov or call (317) 571-2616 for more information.
  3. Volunteer to deliver food and gifts to sponsored families. Help deliver food and gifts from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 from CFD’s Training Center, 4925 E. 106th St. Register online at com/CAPdelivery or email CAP@carmel.in.gov.
