An historic number of Democrats are running in Carmel this year in municipal elections, yet many residents still don’t know their names or where they stand. So, candidates are providing one final opportunity for the community to meet them in one place.
The next chance to meet your candidates will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30 at the Carmel Public Library in Community Room A. In addition to a meet and greet, voters can wear costumes and trick-or-treat. Kids will be welcome.
This is the Carmel Democratic Club’s last of three “Candidate Libraries” where citizens can “check out” their candidates for office in order to make informed decisions about their own democracy.
