Carmel Clay Public Library provides delivery service to patrons who can’t come to the library due to extended or acute illness, physical disabilities, or other extenuating circumstances.

This service is provided to seniors and other homebound persons of any age who live independently or in senior living facilities.

To qualify, a patron must be a resident of Carmel, be unable to visit the library in person, and have no one in the household able to visit the library to obtain materials for the homebound individual. Tell staff what types of things you enjoy and any special requests you have, and they will choose materials that they think you’ll love. Audiovisual materials as well as books may be selected.

Your materials will be delivered to your door once a month.

Call the library at (317) 814-3953 to learn more about homebound delivery.
