The Carmel boys tennis team won the Culver Academies semi-state on Saturday, returning to the state finals. The No. 1-ranked and defending state champion Greyhounds beat No. La Porte 5-0. This extends Carmel’s record for most consecutive semi-state championships to 10 and is the Greyhounds’ 16th overall.
Carmel will play No. 11 Evansville Reitz Friday in the state quarter-finals, which takes place at the Greyhounds’ Todd Witsken Tennis Center.
