Building Better Workplaces event challenges leaders to make connection a business strategy

The fifth annual Building Better Workplaces event will bring executives, HR professionals, managers, and other leaders together for a strategic look at how workplace connection drives trust, performance, and retention.

Hosted by workplace strategist and striveHR founder Angie Redmon, the event will take place from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Ironworks Hotel Indy, 2721 E. 86th St., Indianapolis.

Building Better Workplaces is designed for anyone who cares about the people inside their organization, from executives setting the tone at the top to HR leaders, managers and culture champions working to create meaningful change.

This year’s program, presented by premier title sponsor GadellNet, will explore how connection drives organizational success and how leaders can intentionally strengthen relationships across their teams.

“Connection isn’t just about helping people feel good at work. It directly shapes how teams communicate, solve problems and move the business forward,” Redmon said. “When people trust one another and feel supported, they are more willing to contribute, collaborate and stay. That makes connection a business strategy, not an extra.”

The morning will feature a coffee chat with Kerri Novak, Director of Training & Development at GadellNet, followed by Redmon’s interactive session, “Make Connection Your Business Strategy.” Attendees will also have opportunities to network, share experiences and discuss what trust and engagement look like in practice.
