The IHSAA announced the pairings for this week’s boys tennis sectional tournament on Monday.
Hamilton County will have three sectional sites. All three sites will have semifinal play on Wednesday, with the championship matches taking place on Thursday.
Fishers will host Sectional 31. No. 9-ranked Hamilton Southeastern takes on Anderson in one semifinal, with the host and No. 21-ranked Tigers playing Pendleton Heights in the other semifinal. Matches begin at 5 p.m.
Carmel’s Todd Witsken Tennis Center is the site of Sectional 35. The No. 3 and defending state championship Greyhounds play No. 11 Guerin Catholic in one semifinal. University takes on No. 2 Zionsville in the other semifinal. Matches start at 5:15 p.m.
Noblesville will host Sectional 56. The No. 18 Millers, who made a run to the state finals last season, play No. 17 Westfield in one semifinal, with Hamilton Heights playing Lapel in the other semifinal. Matches begin at 4:30 p.m.
Today’s winners advance to their respective Thursday championships. Those matches will begin at the same time at today’s semifinal matches: Noblesville at 4:30 p.m., Fishers at 5 p.m. and Carmel at 5:15 p.m.
