The Hamilton Southeastern and Fishers boys soccer teams played to a 1-1 tie in the Mudsock game Wednesday at the Tigers’ field.
Both teams scored their respective goals in the first half. Fishers got on the board first, with Andres Artigas finding the back of the net in the 25th minute. The Royals answered in the 31st minute when Gabe Russell scored, assisted by Ameer Abu-Salih.
The game was also a Hoosier Crossroads Conference contest. The Tigers are 1-2-1 in HCC play and 3-3-2 overall and host Pendleton Heights on Thursday. Southeastern is 3-0-1 in the conference and 6-0-3 overall and plays Saturday at Oak Hill.
In an earlier game, Southeastern beat Brebeuf Jesuit 1-0 last Saturday. Russell scored the goal with Jack Anderson making the assist.

Noblesville also picked up an HCC victory on Tuesday, beating Westfield 2-0.
Ben Hewitt and Quinn Johnston each scored one goal for the Millers, while Caden Rice and Ashton Hancock both had one assist.
Noblesville is 3-0-1 in conference play and 6-0-4 overall; the Millers’ next game is Thursday at Southport. In an earlier game, Noblesville tied with Pike 0-0 last Saturday.
The Shamrocks are 1-1-2 in the league and 3-1-2 overall and travel to Pendleton Heights on Saturday.

Guerin Catholic won a high-scoring Circle City Conference game with Roncalli 5-4 on Tuesday.
Robbie Burt put in two goals for the Golden Eagles, with Gavin Rieck, Christian Sosa and Cooper Prather all scoring one goal.
It was a solid rebound for Guerin Catholic, who fell to Bishop Chatard 4-0 in another conference game last Saturday. The Golden Eagles are 2-2 in conference play and 3-6 overall. Next up for GC is a Thursday home game against Harrison.

Carmel fell 1-0 at Lawrence North on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds are 2-3-1 and play Friday at Columbus North.

University dropped a 6-1 game to Bishop Chatard on Tuesday.
Corbin Smith scored the Trailblazers’ goal. University is 1-7 and hosts Franklin Community on Saturday.
