Boys lacrosse: Undefeated Millers get rainy day victory over Homestead

The Noblesville boys lacrosse team scored a rainy 14-4 victory over Homestead on Wednesday.

Zach McMichael was dominant for the Millers’ offense with seven goals and five assists, also collecting four ground balls. Hayden McCaslin and Brighton Kojetin both scored two goals, followed by one each for Harrison Barnett, Monty Atkins and Logan White.

McCaslin also dished out two assists, with Atkins and Kojetin both handing out one. Atkins collected eight ground balls, with McMichael scooping up four.

Noblesville beat Avon 14-3 last Saturday. McMichael and Noah Reynolds both scored three goals, with Charlie Boe adding two goals. Kojtein, Atkins, McCaslin, Dylan Knaga, Gage Bass and Barnett all scored one.

McMichael handed out three assists, with two each for Kojetin and White. Boe, Atkins and McCaslin all had one assist. Atkins again led the ground balls with 11, followed by six for Kojetin and five for Boe and Nolan Kashman. Zeke Einterz made six saves.

The Millers are 6-0 for the season and play Saturday at Crown Point.
