BlackSheep, an innovative pizza concept from Upland Hospitality, Upland Brewing Company’s restaurant arm, is now open in Westfield. This new restaurant in the Grand Junction Plaza neighborhood at 170 Jersey St. offers lunch and dinner dishes centered around a large wood-fired oven.

“BlackSheep is more than a restaurant – it’s a neighborhood anchor built on the belief that pizza can be both a comfort food and a craft experience,” says Joshua Ratliff, Project Manager for BlackSheep and Columbus native. “It’s a place that uses great food and bold drinks to welcome the outsider in all of us.”

The restaurant is located in the heart of Westfield just off West Main Street in the Union at Grand Junction. Restaurant hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Guests are invited into the high-touch interior, designed by the Parallel Design Group. Parallel specializes in strong minimal design and has completed many restaurant projects in central Indiana. BlackSheep boasts an elegant bar area and a dining room with an open kitchen.

Centered around familiar classics elevated by a unique touch, the menu features scratch-made Neapolitan pizza, setting itself apart with elegant lunch salads and rustic dinner entrees. BlackSheep will also highlight off-the-beaten path Italian treats like oversized piadina sandwiches, spiedini beef skewers, and parm potatoes.

The food is complemented by a beverage menu featuring cocktails, an all-Italian wine list, and craft beers all selected by Ratliff, a Member of the Guild of Master Sommeliers.

“Over two decades we’ve come to believe the lessons we’ve learned from our Upland patrons,” said Padraig Cullen, Vice President of Upland Hospitality. “Especially post-COVID, and on through to whatever happens next, we see people tend to still have an affectionate need for an open place in their busy weeks for a great sit-down meal. We want to be there to help make communities more livable and lovable by serving that need.”
