The Sheridan softball team opened its season Monday, falling to Lebanon 21-2 in five innings at Grand Park.
Sophomore Shelby Eaton was 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI, senior Ashlynn Tryon also went 1-for-2 and scored a run. Junior Maelei Casler was 1-for-3 and pitched two innings, with junior Emma Settles pitching the other two innings.
The Blackhawks host North Montgomery at 5:30 p.m. tonight.
