Beth Helbing

August 11, 1957 – February 14, 2024

Beth Helbing, 66, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at her home. She was born on August 11, 1957, to Roger and Anne (Condo) Williams in Marion, Ind.

Beth graduated from Bennett High School and Ball State University. It was at Ball State that she met the love of her life, Bill Helbing. They shared a life of love and joy for more than 44 years. Beth spent many years working in fabrics and packaging procurement. She retired in 2022 from procurement management for Schorr Packaging in Chicago. Beth was an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Cicero, where she was their finance chair. Beth was also a long-time member of Tri Kappa Sorority and President of the Noblesville chapter.

Beth and Bill loved traveling and enjoyed many adventures together, including trips gathering information for Billsbackroads on Facebook. She also loved cruising and trips with her sisters. Many family members and friends were the beneficiaries of her baking and enjoyed her wonderful sense of humor. She also had special expertise in cooking standing rib roasts and supervised this every Christmas.

Beth is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bill Helbing; son, David (Sarah) Neiling of Tuscon, Ariz.; grandson, Mac Neiling; sisters, Ellen (Robert) Welk of Fountaintown, Anne Marie Williams of Evansville, and Mary Kay Williams-Duff of Jeffersonville, Ky.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only brother, Frank Williams.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 410 S. Pearl St., Cicero, with Fr. Sean Pogue officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of the service at the church. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery in Cicero. Following the burial, there will be a dinner at the church.
