The 36th annual Basil Mawbey Basketball Coaches Clinic is scheduled for Saturday at Anderson High School.
Seven high school coaches will be on hand to give talks and demonstrations, which will feature their All-Star and Mr. Basketball candidates.
Two current Hamilton County coaches are among the speakers: Westfield boys coach Shane Sumpter and new Noblesville boys coach Scott McClelland. Other coaches scheduled to appear are Don Bowling (Anderson), John Bodey (Central Noble), Adam Ballard (Pendleton Heights), Tod Windlan (Lapel) and Mawbey (Anderson).
The day begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration, coffee and donuts. Each demonstration lasts 45 minutes, and there will be lunch break at noon. The cost is $25 at the door, and the public is invited to attend.
Anderson High School is located at 4610 Madison Ave., Anderson. Enter the clinic through Door 13 on the south side of the high school.
