Barbara Jean DeNoon, 89, Vevay, Ind., passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was born on September 16, 1933, to Herald and Inez (Kleyla) Setters in Indianapolis.
Barbara was a professional opera singer, and everything she did revolved around music and her passion for singing. In her early years, she sang with the Indianapolis Orchestra and with Star Light Musicals. Also in her younger years, Barbara was a member of Eastern Star, and a member of Rutter Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved being a grandma and spoiling them all. Barbara was a big Snow White fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Smith; grandchildren, Ashley (Jesse) Bryant, Melisa Smith, Katie Smith, Hank Smith, and Stacie Smith; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Jordan, and Jerimiah Bryant, and Gunnar Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harold DeNoon; daughter, Eileen Walters; and brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Shirley Setters.
Services will be held at noon on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
