Bank of America opens new financial center in Carmel

Bank of America announced on Tuesday the opening of a new financial center in Carmel. The opening of this center, located at 11530 Illinois St., further represents Bank of America’s mission to bring retail banking, lending, and small business services to local clients, along with investing and personalized financial guidance from Merrill.

This opening is part of the company’s plans to open more than 55 new financial centers across 34 markets in 2023.

Bank of America opened the first financial center in Indianapolis in November 2017, and has since expanded to a total of 19 centers with plans to open three more by 2025.

Clients in Indianapolis also have access to Bank of America’s industry-leading digital capabilities. The bank’s digital leadership were recognized with more than 120 digital-related accolades in 2022.

The company’s new financial center in Carmel showcases the latest technology and private offices to assist clients one-on-one and on-site financial specialists who work as one team to understand a client’s unique priorities and goals and provide personalized guidance.

Bank of America plans to open three additional financial centers in the Indianapolis market including a center at Washington Street and Mitthoeffer Road on the city’s east side, the bank’s first financial center in Avon, Ind., and a second financial center in Carmel. Bank of America currently serves clients through 19 financial centers and 72 ATMs in Indianapolis and has more than 280 local employees.

Since 2018, Bank of America has invested nearly $6.6 million in Indianapolis through grants to local nonprofits, employee matching gifts, sponsorships, and other investments. Employees have volunteered 18,000 hours over the last five years.
