On Wednesday, Sept. 13, Nickel Plate Arts will hold its 11th Anniversary Gala with the theme “Art is in Fashion.” At this event, Nickel Plate Arts will award and recognize some of the most inspirational artists and arts advocates among the region’s thriving arts scene.
The event is sponsored by and held at Conner Prairie in Fishers and will consist of art demonstrations and activities, a fashion show celebrating Hamilton County’s fashionable heritage facilitated by the streetwear clothing brand MELI, and the Nickel Plate Arts Awards which will consist of dinner, drinks, live music, and a live auction.
The evening will start with a reception at 5:15 p.m. with wine provided at each table by the event’s wine sponsor, Spencer Farm Winery. The main event will begin at 6:15 p.m. and will include dinner from Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, featuring hors d’oeuvre, wine, and dessert. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be available. A cash bar will be available onsite.
The Silent Auction will start the evening with packages featuring fashion jewelry from Smith’s Jewelers, rounds of golf from Plum Creek, gift certificates for a downtown Noblesville date night, and more. Bids can be made on your phone once you’re checked in for the evening and will end at 8:45 p.m. Faster giving will facilitate the live auction portion of the evening, which will include a table at next year’s Gala.
Enjoy wine, play games, bid on silent and live auction items, celebrate local arts leaders, and raise money for the future of Nickel Plate Arts.
