Applebee’s to raise funds for family of fallen officer

On Tuesday, Oct. 10, Applebee’s restaurants across the state will hold a “Dining to Donate” event to raise funds for Southport Police Lieutenant, Aaron Allan, who was tragically killed in the line of duty while serving the citizens of Indiana on July 27. Fifteen percent of each participating party’s bill will be donated to the Lt. Aaron Allan Family Fund, which will directly benefit his family.

Applebee’s guests interested in participating in the “Dining to Donate” program should inform their server when ordering or when placing Carside To Go orders.

Participating Applebee’s restaurants include those in Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville and manyw others across the state.

Apple American Group, the largest Applebee’s franchisee in the country, pledges to assist those less fortunate and support those institutions that enhance the quality of life in the communities it serves. Each restaurant stays engaged in its neighborhood through participation in community events, donations, sponsorships and fundraisers to help local organizations grow and flourish and takes care of their own team members through the Flynn Restaurant Group Family Fund.
