January 28, 1956 – October 21, 2018
Anne Michele Felts, 62, Fishers, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 while vacationing in Florida. She was born on January 28, 1956 to Jack and Rae (Duckworth) Donahue in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Michele was a life-long Catholic and a member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church. For over 20 years, she worked as a Registered Nurse. A caretaker by nature, Michele took over both roles of mother and father when her husband, Ken, passed away in 2004. She was a source of strength for the entire family and would always drop what she was doing to help others. Michele was very handy around the house and was never one to call a repairman, as she took pride in fixing everything herself. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her friends and spoiling her dog, Bridget. She loved playing with her grandsons as well as hosting frequent family gatherings. Michele’s kids and grandkids were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Ann (Jason) Fletcher and Karen Lynn (Matthew) Hamang; son, Patrick Joseph (Amanda) Felts; grandsons, Luke, Ethan and Parker; sister, Denise (Charles) Bohle; father-in-law, Sonny Felts; brothers- and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Michele was preceded in death by her husband of over 25 years, Kenneth D. Felts; and her mother-in-law, Barbara Felts.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, Fishers, with Rev. Patrick Click officiating. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research in honor of her husband, Ken at stopsarcoidosis.org.
