Andrea Meara McNew, born June 22, 1978, in Noblesville, passed away on November 21, 2025. A smart, loving, and compassionate woman, Andrea was known for her spirited energy and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Andrea was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School and later attended and graduated from Butler University. She was currently managing Pizza by the Harbor, where she was a beloved employee and leader. However, Andrea’s real passions lie outside her professional life. She was an avid reader, always eager to learn and research new things. A gifted violinist, Andrea found joy in music and shared this passion with others. She was also a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her sons, supporting their hobbies and creating cherished memories. As a devoted friend, she was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Andrea was a woman of many talents, and her love for writing was only one of the many ways she expressed her creative spirit.
Andrea leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories for her family, including her mother, Karen Huffman; her two sons, Addison Sutton and Triston McNew; her brother, Nathan Huffman; her cousins; and several other relatives who loved her dearly. Andrea is preceded in death by her father, Timothy Huffman, and her brother, Brandon Huffman.
Visitation for Andrea will be held at Hartley-Dunnichay Funeral Home, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2025. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 1 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed at my.gather.app/remember/andrea-mcnew. All services are under the direction of Hartley Funeral Homes – Cicero.
