The historic Paramount Theatre, alongside 2023 Season Sponsor Community Hospital Anderson, announces today the addition of two exciting performances to its diverse onstage lineup – ARRIVAL From Sweden: The Music of ABBA and The Music of Billy Joel and Elton John Starring Michael Cavanaugh. Step into the world of musical entertainer Michael Cavanaugh, known for his magnetic stage presence and unforgettable renditions of classic hits. Known as the new voice of the American Rock & Roll Songbook, Cavanaugh’s journey began with his acclaimed role in the Broadway musical Movin’ Out, personally selected by Billy Joel.
The Music of Billy Joel and Elton John features the greatest hits of two great rock piano legends. Cavanaugh will perform classics like “Piano Man,” “Rocket Man,” “Bennie and the Jets,” and more. Cavanaugh’s music has resonated with audiences worldwide, from his mesmerizing performances at renowned events like the Super Bowl and Indy 500 to his symphony orchestra collaborations.
